I started dabbling in Linux only about 2 years ago. Since, I have rarely gone back to use Windows. (Sadly, I’m a gamer, and not all the latest and greatest games run in Linux via Wine.) My computer right now is 17.141162515% Linux, 65.480427046% storage, and 17.378410439% is Windows 7. (I would love a Mac, but can’t afford it.) My current distro is Fedora. I am open to trying different flavors to see what else is out there. If you know of one that I should try, leave me a note and I’ll check it out (Only thing I ask is that it has a live CD, or some sort of CD, I can download so I can get it running in VirtualBox or VMWare.)

Complying from source code still scares me, more so when they don’t have a readme file with the source code. I am getting better, but I feel like if I don’t use the installer package that I will mess up somehow. (And that if I mess up that it will mess up my entire system… that’s what truly scares me.)

Most of all, I am willing to learn and make mistakes. I search for answers to my questions, and if need be, I post my questions for others to answer
